Thinking Of Spring

There's still that nip in the air
But Spring blossoms are all about....
The snow drops are nearly gone
carpets upon carpets of white
turning their heads in merry dance
chilled by the late snows.....
Crocus shoots are up small purple
among the greenery......
Winter cyclamen are abounding under
the tree pastel colours almost too shy to show
their beauty......
There's something comforting about Spring to me anyway....
New shoots; new growth;
After the dark somewhat gloomy months...
Then again think of Autumn...
season of mists and mellow...
Vibrant reds of maple rusts and mustard's of oak and sycamore...
Depending on our weather; we don't always have
vibrant colours and crisp winters.
Hence the leaves can fall early with a damp sort of hue...
But sometimes a crisp sunny autumn season...
What a Golden russet time........
