A Garden Edens Time.

' You are closer to God in a Garden than anywhere else on Earth'
How often as a child she had been in gardens especially beautiful ones in England....
She had often seen the above incribed on stone blocks;pavers all sorts....
But whenever she read it ; It bothered her in some way she wasn't sure why?
It was only years later in fact that she realised why?
Surely The most significant time in history had happened in a garden... long ong ago.
In that Garden when mankind and Eternity came together.
When a choice had to be made.
It was in a garden that sin first made it's enterance and caused that chasm
between God and man...
And a dark deep shadow fell on that garden ; For a moment primeval and fearful:

Thinking Of Spring

There's still that nip in the air
But Spring blossoms are all about....
The snow drops are nearly gone
carpets upon carpets of white
turning their heads in merry dance
chilled by the late snows.....
Crocus shoots are up small purple
among the greenery......
Winter cyclamen are abounding under
the tree pastel colours almost too shy to show
their beauty......
There's something comforting about Spring to me anyway....
New shoots; new growth;
After the dark somewhat gloomy months...
Then again think of Autumn...
season of mists and mellow...
Vibrant reds of maple rusts and mustard's of oak and sycamore...
Depending on our weather; we don't always have
vibrant colours and crisp winters.
Hence the leaves can fall early with a damp sort of hue...
But sometimes a crisp sunny autumn season...
What a Golden russet time........

Not Meant

I didn't mean to break your heart...
It was so long ago...
I didn't mean to tear into all we used to do!
I didn't mean to be unkind
and throw it all away...
I didn't mean to say Goodbye on that summer day.
If I could open up the door, the rusty key might turn
open up all the memories
then I may have learned
that you were good, and you were kind
and you were all and all...
and everytime I think of you
You still make me stand tall....

A Mighty Saviour

For I know a Mighty Saviour
Jesus Christ the Lord
For he listens to our hearts cry..
and understands them all.
Oh! he is a Mighty Saviour
He means all the world to me
His tears are our tears
He longs to set us Free...
He understands our moments be they
for shadow or shine
He Longs to bring his children closer
dear one... Can You make him thine?

Just For Today

Just for today Dear Lord...
Just for today..
Thankyou for your help Lord
In every sort of way.
Just for your kindness Lord
Just for today
Help me to remember you
when I kneel to pray
Just for your Love Lord
Just for today
Help me to appreciate
All you do each day.
Did I see you in a strangers face?
Just for today
Did I see you in a child's smile?
Just for today
Help me to remember Lord
just for today.......

Out Of Darkness

Out of Darkness into your light.. dear Lord...
Only when we go through dark times ; dear Lord do we see Your Light appear...
It clearly shines for us admidst the problems of each day and then our roots
are more firmly sunk into your rock; solid ground that cannot moved; on which
to place our feet...
Sometimes Dear saviour Only your feet I see...
Then in a Glorious moment...
Your Face does ever shine for me...
Sunshine out of shadows...
Blessings out of Rain.
