Close To Him

Though I am a sinner I am saved by redeeming grace..

My fortune is in my saviour His love forever true

He longs to draw us closer in this short time of Grace...

I long to ever be able to look on his dear dear face...

Sometimes I spend only minutes with this true friend of mine

How he longs for me to spend more time just more time....
For his cares are our cares, his burdens ours too....

I thank you oh my saviour for being close and ever true...

Help me dear Lord to listen, to your every word in obedience

To your plan.....

For on that cruel cross you suffered took all my sin,

Gave up your Life: and were buried there....

But then Oh how triumphant!

You rose, your body, no longer there...

Empty Grave and grave cloths......

To give us all true hope and not despair......
